About Jessie
Jessie Leith, C.O.(c), M.Sc, B.Eng.
Certified Orthotist
Boundless Biomechanical Bracing
The patients we see at Boundless are highly diverse. Not only are we accustomed to working with individuals with a variety of diagnoses but individuals in different stages of life, with unique treatment plans and goals. Working with orthotic technicians and access to on-site fabrication allows us an almost unlimited opportunity for customization in our orthotic devices.
It is this opportunity to design and develop creative solutions for patients that draws Jessie to the orthotic profession.
Exploring emerging technologies
Jessie has a keen interest in using emerging technologies to develop innovative solutions for patients. Combining her background in engineering and orthotics Jessie explores the potential uses of 3D scanning and printing technologies for orthotic applications.
She believes that these technologies will open the doors for new design opportunities in the future for orthotics and other highly customized solutions.
Jessie completed her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering (Biomedical specialization) at the University of Guelph, and has a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Methods in Prosthetics & Orthotics from George Brown College. To enhance her clinical practice and applied use of evidence-based practice, she completed her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science with McMaster University.
